Follow the story of a marriage from "I do" to "I can't love someone like you. I never will love to my potential because of you."

A real marriage. 600,000 real text messages. Fed to an AI to fill in the gaps between the notifications. Released as a podcast, portrayed by AI.

This is not a memoir. Nobody is asking you to take sides.

The messages are real. The names are not. The narrative between them is written by an AI that only knows what's been said โ€” never what comes next. Every layer of this project is labeled: what's verbatim, what's imagined, and where the line is.

Two people. Eleven years. The slow accumulation of everything that goes unsaid between the notifications โ€” addiction, infidelity, financial ruin, the quiet erosion of two people who once chose each other. This is what the record shows.

Three months into the marriage.

Her 7:36 PM I fucking hate you.
Him 7:37 PM I'm really sorry honey. I was wrong to assume it was just going to be the three of us and should have asked. It's 100% my fault for being dumb, and I'm sorry that you had to pay for it by missing out.
Her 7:38 PM Fuck you.
Her 7:38 PM You are ruining my life.
Her 7:39 PM Selfish. You're a selfish pig.
Her 7:41 PM You are nothing of what a husband should be.
Her 7:44 PM I can't love someone like you. I never will love to my potential because of you.
Him 7:46 PM You're right โ€” I have been incredibly selfish. I have no excuse. You deserve better than how I've acted for some time.

Names changed. Timestamps real. Everything else โ€” exactly as it was sent.

a note from the source

This is my story. I'm not going to tell you my name.

The divorce is still pending. The debt is real โ€” six figures of legal fees, an overdrawn account, and three kids who deserve better than what we've been able to give them while stuck in this.

I built this because the record deserves to be heard. And because the real people behind these characters need help getting to the other side.
